Schouten Zekerheid is launching a partnership with Hello Mobility to help fleets with data-driven damage prevention. Robin Doesburg, Sales Director Transport & Logistics at Schouten Zekerheid explains the opportunities this offers his clients.

More safety, more durability and lower TCO

Doesburg, explains: "30% of fleet costs are related to driver behavior. With the technology of Hello Mobility, our customers are able to gain insight into driving behavior and place it in the right context. This way you know where you can make adjustments before damage occurs. In addition to insight, we also offer solutions. Here you can think of training fleet or hub managers, delivering internal campaigns around sustainable and responsible driving, campaigns around vulnerable road users or the (digital) training of drivers."

App for drivers

Doesburg continues: "The fleet manager has insight into the fleet performance via a dashboard and receives a weekly message with what is going well, what has been achieved and which things can be further improved. The drivers can use the app for this. They see how they score compared to their colleagues, where they score well and where there is room for improvement. Through short video training sessions in the app, you learn in 30 seconds how to further improve your own score on specific topics. The app relies heavily on behavioral improvement through gamification. Every month you save points and our customer decides whether these points are converted into a possible financial benefit for the driver."

Helping customers with 'actionable' data

"In addition to helping our clients gain insight, we help them implement this data correctly and turn it into targeted actions. The great thing is that the Hello Mobility coaches visit many companies and know exactly what works and what doesn't and what actions are needed to make a safe and responsible driving policy successful within a company".

Improve fleet performance and make traffic safer and more sustainable

According to Doesburg, the partnership with Hello Mobility fits well with Schouten Zekerheid's philosophy. Namely, to improve the results of vehicle fleets and make traffic participation safer and more sustainable. After all, traffic participation is the most unsafe part of a working day. By reading driving behavior data from vehicles, enriching it and putting it in context, we provide our clients with "actionable" insights and keep risks affordable and insurable.
