My name is Laura Post - Dancewicz and I am actually a real hospitality tiger. Since my (hospitality) education I have always worked in bars, restaurants but mainly in hotels and this with great pleasure. Yet after years it was time for a change, I was really ready for something else. Maintaining the relationship with customers and making sure they have a good experience and experience with the organization, are very important to me. I knew that this passion could also be translated into another industry, any industry.

I ended up at Schouten Zekerheid through family and I used to have a job here. So I was not completely unfamiliar with Schouten Toren and showed immediate interest when I wanted to change jobs/sector and a vacancy arose. Although the company has grown tremendously over the past 15 years, it turned out that there were still people 'from the past' working there, which I thought was a great sign.

So I am completely new to this industry and that's what makes it so much fun, I like a (new) challenge. I find the insurance world so broad, diverse and interesting! Here I get all the room I need for the 'retraining path' and thus the opportunity to develop myself and discover where my ambitions lie. The horizon at Schouten Zekerheid is broad and I can still go in any direction.

In addition, I work in a very nice environment with really nice colleagues, all friendly and enthusiastic. I felt very welcome from day one and I can still go to any colleague. This applies to everyone by the way: there is an open-door culture here, which makes it easy to drop in on management. It is a family business and the family feeling is also noticeable between colleagues. Everyone is genuinely interested in each other and there are also many outings organized outside working hours.

In the meantime, I have advanced to the Junior Broker position in the International Insurance Programs department, where I have a lot of contact with clients and various brokers from various international networks. These are global relationships that we want to maintain well, so we travel the world a few times a year. So you can imagine that this is my new passion, or actually more of a great addition to the one I already have!
