Disability
From sick pay to pension contributions and beyond SV wages - find out how we help you.
Explore how your disability provisions are arranged at CED.
If you become disabled and receive WIA benefits, your pension premiums will continue to be paid by Nationale Nederlanden free of charge. As a result, both your pension accrual and the insured survivor's pension remain intact.
The continued contribution payment will then be related to the degree of disability determined by the UWV. In the event of full occupational disability, your pension plan will continue unabated and with it your own contribution to the pension costs will also cease.
Good to know
What is WGA gap insurance?
This insurance protects you against a substantial drop in income in the event of occupational disability. If you become partially disabled, this insurance guarantees a total income of at least 70% of your former salary (the SV salary for which you are insured through the WIA).
What is WIA excess insurance?
Do you earn more than the SV wage? If you are unfit for work, you will additionally receive 70% of the excess above the SV wage. The amount of this benefit depends on the degree of your disability. In case of full occupational disability, this full percentage is paid.
How much do I pay for these insurances myself?
You pay nothing. The entire premium is paid by CED.
What happens when my employment ends?
Upon leaving employment, your participation in these insurance plans will cease. If you subsequently become disabled, you are no longer entitled to benefits from these plans.
