What does sick leave insurance cost?
The premium for sick leave insurance is determined based on your own choices and your company's sick leave over the past two years. In addition, you can choose from the following components: Own risk period: you choose after how many (waiting) days you want to receive benefits if your employee is sick. Illness during the waiting period is for your own account. Frequently chosen by members: 2 or 4 weeks.
Employer's expenses: in addition to the wages of (sick) employees, you have other additional costs. You choose whether you want to include the employer expenses in your insurance (up to a maximum of 25%).
