About the webinar
On Thursday April 16th, Schouten Zekerheid, in collaboration with Forvis Mazars, is organizing a free webinar on: Dutch pension and international employment, touching the key points regarding employment in the Netherlands.
During this session, specialists from Schouten Zekerheid and Forvis Mazars will share practical insights on international employment, payroll tax, social security, and pension obligations in the Netherlands.
1. Payroll tax and social security
In today’s globalized economy, international employment has become increasingly common. When employees work across borders, they must navigate complex tax obligations and social security regulations. Understanding these aspects is crucial for both employers and employees to ensure compliance and optimize benefits. Does your organization have sufficient insight of the travel movements of its staff? Is prior attention given to the implications in both domestic and international context regarding tax and payroll obligations and social security?
Are you up to date on the changes with regards to the 30%-ruling? Quincy Vermeer will explain these subjects during the knowledge session.
2. The new Dutch pension legislation
The new Dutch pension legislation impacts all pension plans, and employers have until January 1, 2028, to adjust their plans. Jan-Maarten van Bochove, an experienced pension advisor, helps employers set up and modify pension plans. In this webinar, he will focus on defined contribution (DC) plans with insurers and PPI providers, where employers must actively make key decisions.
With a pragmatic approach, he will outline the essential choices and key considerations, providing clear, practical guidance to navigate the transition smoothly.
